CrowdGen by Appen is seeking an AI Trainer - Domain Expert to help AI understand everyday Yue Chinese (Cantonese) as used in Malaysia. You will play a key role in improving AI language comprehension through focused data collection.
What You'll Do
- Collect and annotate linguistic data to improve AI models for Yue Chinese (Cantonese).
- Analyze and categorize everyday language usage patterns specific to Malaysia.
- Provide domain expertise to ensure data quality and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with AI teams to define data requirements and evaluation metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Native or near-native proficiency in Yue Chinese (Cantonese) as spoken in Malaysia.
- Deep understanding of cultural contexts and everyday language use in Malaysia.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality linguistic data.
- Ability to work independently and manage data collection tasks effectively.

This is a fully remote position based in Malaysia.
