McKesson is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst who excels at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you will blend business analysis with hands-on PowerBI development, partnering directly with clinical, product, and operational teams to deliver impactful reports and data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Talk directly with clinical, operational, product, and engineering teams to define reporting requirements.
- Document processes, data workflows, and report specifications.
- Create interactive PowerBI dashboards tracking key healthcare KPIs and metrics.
- Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and scalable PowerBI solutions.
- Write SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure trustworthy data.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 3+ years of business analysis experience focused on reporting and analytics.
- Strong skills in PowerBI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Solid SQL experience with querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
- Understanding of clinical workflows and HIPAA compliance.
- Clear, practical communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for business leaders.
Nice to Have
- Healthcare data experience, such as with EHRs, HL7, or FHIR.
