GE Vernova Gas Power is hiring an Income Statement Operations Analyst

GE Vernova is hiring an Income Statement Operations Analyst to join the Gas Power Income Statement FP&A team. In this role, you will provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting, acting as a key contributor to implementing Finance priorities and championing standard work across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the key Finance contact for reporting areas including Cost of poor quality, foreign exchange, and HQ GM/other income.
• Own and support closing processes utilizing systems expertise in HFM, FDL, SDC, and Dodeca.
• Own and support pacing and forecasting packages for various financial milestones.
• Consolidate stakeholder inputs to own the pacing tracker for the Gas Power headquarters P&L.
• Own standard work reporting for Corporate submissions.
• Champion standard work efforts by helping establish and prioritize services and products for financial planning and reporting.
• Increase connectivity of financial forecasts (plan, outlook, pacing) with business lines, fulfillment centers, and commercial teams.
• Independently drive projects and process improvements within the HQ team while supporting broader Gas Power initiatives.
• Gain exposure to pitching analyses and updates to executives and senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Relevant, progressive experience in Finance roles.
• An FP&A background or experience within an industrial setting.
• A demonstrated ability to analyze data and resolve problems in financial roles.
• Proficiency in spoken English.

• A demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects and analyze and resolve problems.
• The ability to lead conversations with a broad group of stakeholders, such as ITR FP&A teams and the Corporate FP&A team.
