Love Finance is hiring a Head/Director of Engineering to guide high-performing squads, own technical delivery, and be hands-on with code. You will balance strategy and execution to build scalable, secure systems for our business-finance and consumer products.

What You'll Do

Lead the engineering effort across the Lovey App and Platform Squads, mentoring midweight and junior engineers.
Design and build scalable, maintainable systems using Flutter.
Architect solutions that serve both consumer-facing and B2B finance products.
Deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Designers to define, prioritise, and deliver impactful work.
Champion clean, modern engineering, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
Drive technical direction and contribute to long-term architectural planning.
Foster a lean, autonomous culture with clear process where needed.
Ensure strong data flows between Lovey’s ecosystem: Provenir, LTi, HubSpot, ThoughtSpot, and BigQuery.

What We're Looking For

8+ years’ experience in full-stack development.
Recent leadership or mentoring responsibility.
Deep knowledge of Flutter (Dart), Node.JS and a wider development stack.
Strong experience with Flutter for cross-platform mobile development (iOS & Android).
Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
A pragmatic approach, valuing clarity, collaboration, and simplicity.
A passion for building products that solve real problems.

Nice to Have

Experience with native iOS/Android development.
Experience with Python, REST, GraphQL, Hubspot, BigQuery or other Cloud Platforms.
