The Head of Threat Intelligence at Obsidian Security will serve as the external voice of the company's threat research and threat-driven products, bridging threat intelligence, marketing, and go-to-market functions. This role is responsible for building trusted relationships in the security community, shaping threat narratives, and translating real-world adversary activity into compelling content and product insights.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain deep relationships within the threat intel community
- Participate in timely, bi-directional threat intelligence sharing and collaboration
- Translate external intelligence and customer pain points into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap
- Work closely with marketing to publish high-quality threat intelligence content, including blogs, reports, advisories, and research summaries
- Act as a credible public spokesperson for the company’s threat intelligence efforts
What We're Looking For
- 9+ years in Cybersecurity, with specific experience in Threat Intelligence, security research, or adversary tradecraft
- Exceptional public speaking skills and the ability to write for both technical and executive audiences
- Deep understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK® framework, Cyber Threat Frameworks, and common adversary TTPs
- Demonstrated experience engaging with the broader security and threat intelligence community

Salary: $270,000 - $302,000 USD. May be eligible for sales commission or incentive compensation based on the role or function.
