Xero is looking for a Head of Talent Experience to lead the global strategy and delivery of hiring for Corporate (G&A) functions. This role sits on the Talent Experience leadership team and partners closely with senior leaders to attract exceptional talent that supports Xero’s global growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead the global strategy and delivery of hiring for Corporate (G&A) functions.
- Partner closely with executive leaders to understand organisational priorities and align hiring strategies to business needs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global Corporate Recruitment team.
- Ensure the Corporate hiring portfolio operates with high quality, operational discipline, and strong stakeholder partnership.
- Champion the adoption of AI-enabled recruiting tools and data-driven decision making to improve hiring speed, insight, and quality.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and measurement, continuously evaluating and improving recruiting performance through analytics.
- Deliver high-quality hiring experiences for candidates and leaders while enabling Corporate teams to access world-class talent globally.
- Contribute to broader TX functional priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading Corporate / G&A recruitment within a global organisation.
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leaders to deliver strategic hiring outcomes.
- Strong track record of building high-performing recruiting teams and delivering operational excellence.
- Experience using recruiting analytics and data insights to improve hiring performance.
- Experience contributing to functional improvement within Talent Acquisition organisations.
- Exceptional ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement, discretion, and integrity.
- Strong analytical capability, using recruiting metrics, funnel data, and market insights to drive decision-making.
- High numerical fluency, with the ability to interpret hiring data, identify operational patterns, and translate insights into clear actions.
- Excellent organisational and operational leadership skills.
- The ability to coach and develop high-performing teams while delivering exceptional stakeholder and candidate experiences.
Team & Environment
This role sits on the TX leadership team and reports to the EGM, Talent Experience.
