About the Role

Encentive is looking for a Head of Sales (m/w/d) Erneuerbare Energien to build our high-performance sales strategy from the ground up. You will establish scalable processes and shape a powerful team to lay the foundation for the company's future sales growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop the new customer strategy in line with our product portfolio and company goals.
  • Identify target markets, customer needs, and competitive advantages.
  • Actively manage our sales pipeline.
  • Support the team in complex sales cycles, negotiations, and closing large deals.
  • Regularly analyze sales data to identify trends and bottlenecks and make adjustments.
  • Expand the sales team through hiring, onboarding, and integration.
  • Train, coach, and motivate the team, manage performance and feedback, and build a team culture.
  • Build and optimize sales processes and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with interfaces such as Marketing and Product.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in sales to the Mittelstand and in SaaS sales.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Ability and motivation to expand and lead a sales team from currently 3 to 10-12 employees.
  • Experience in building sales structures.
  • Strong ability to build and optimize sales processes and structures in a sustainable and scalable way.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in High-Performing Start Ups or ScaleUps.
  • Background in the energy sector.
  • Team lead experience in SaaS companies.
  • Experience in developing and leading a team (training, creating playbooks, etc.).

Team & Environment

The current team size is 3 people, with an expansion to 10-12 planned. You will have disciplinary team leadership.
