NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) is looking for a Head of Insights to lead, develop, and scale our Insights function. You will be responsible for setting the direction, standards, and operating model for how insight is generated, communicated, and delivered to our customers. This role will lead a small but growing team of analysts, requiring a player-coach approach initially.

What You'll Do

Own and evolve the Insights vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Define and embed best practice standards for insight quality, storytelling, and presentation.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Insights team.
Establish ways of working, prioritisation frameworks, and QA processes.
Support recruitment and onboarding of future Insights hires.
Set direction on which insights matter most to customers.
Review and challenge insight outputs for clarity and impact.
Drive automation and repeatable insight products.
Identify opportunities to expand insight coverage.
Work with Engineering and Product on insight-led development.
Act as a senior Insights representative with key customers.
Lead or support high-impact customer presentations.
Ensure insights clearly demonstrate value.
Identify insight-led commercial opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Senior experience in Insights or Analytics leadership.
Proven people management capability.
Strong insight storytelling and decision-support skills.
Experience with large, complex datasets.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience of working in procurement and/or the NHS.
