As the Head of Client-Side at ZeptoLab, you will be responsible for shaping the client-side technical strategy across our diverse portfolio of games. You will lead a team of talented engineers, contribute significant hands-on coding, and own the Tech Art direction alongside core technology leadership.
What You'll Do
- Set the vision for client-side technology, including the ZeptoLab-framework, Unity, and common modules.
- Drive hands-on improvements, dedicating about 15% of your time to coding.
- Align with stakeholders and present clear, well-structured technical plans.
- Grow and mentor a strong team, managing career paths, feedback, and performance.
- Spot and fix problems proactively before they escalate.
- Support cross-functional projects and external partnerships, including work-for-hire engagements.
- Own Tech Art direction alongside core tech leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level proficiency in Unity & C#.
- Deep experience with multithreading and integrating third-party SDKs for ads and analytics.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines yourself.
- Strong understanding and application of Data-Oriented Design (DOD) principles.
- Proven track record of building scalable common technology.
Nice to Have
- Experience with C++, particularly for custom engine work.
- Understanding of service-based server architecture.
