SynaptiCure Inc. is hiring a full-time HCC Coding Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management department. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and compliant medical coding to support risk adjustment initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) codes.
- Ensure all coding complies with CMS guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify and rectify coding discrepancies to support proper risk adjustment.
- Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to validate coding data.
- Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails for all coding activities.
What We're Looking For
- Certification as a CCS, CPC, CRC, or equivalent coding credential.
- Proven experience in HCC coding for risk adjustment.
- Thorough understanding of CMS risk adjustment models and ICD-10-CM guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States.
