Lexware is hiring a Buchhaltungsexpert:in für Software-Testing (d/m/w) to bring deep accounting expertise directly into our product development lifecycle. You will use your hands-on knowledge to ensure our software meets the real-world needs of accounting and tax professionals.
What You'll Do
- Define test cases for products independently based on your practical accounting experience.
- Conduct software testing independently.
- Contribute accounting expertise to the development and improvement of Lexware products, keeping customer needs in focus.
- Work in an agile environment to continuously improve workflows and contribute constructive solutions to team routines.
- Act as a subject matter expert and sparring partner for the team during requirement analysis and implementation.
What We're Looking For
- Completed training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or (balance sheet) accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter:in) or comparable knowledge and skills.
- First professional experience in accounting/tax.
- Experience in ongoing bookkeeping.
- Good knowledge of taxation and profit determination methods.
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements.
- Practical experience in software testing.
- Initiative, teamwork, and ability to work independently and flexibly.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
- Good English language skills for communication in English-German speaking teams.

- Test methodological knowledge.
