NTT DATA is hiring a Guidewire Lead Developer to lead the implementation and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. In this remote US role based in Worcester, Massachusetts, you will be responsible for guiding development, managing client relationships, and designing both functional and technical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements and provide status updates.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to validate business needs.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design functional and technical solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Participate in hands-on application development through coding, configuration, and customization.
- Review and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate solutions with existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Lead small to medium project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Mentor developers by providing technical guidance and support.
- Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and technical teams.
- Drive project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Recommend innovative solutions and process optimizations.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of strong knowledge in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration.
- Hands-on experience with the PolicyCenter data model and workflows.
- Relevant Guidewire certifications.
- Proficiency in the GOSU programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Studio and configuration tools.
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services for Guidewire integrations.
- Experience with messaging, batch processes, and plugins.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of Java for custom development.
