The Town of Frisco is looking for a full-time Guest Services & Marketing Specialist to join our Communication, Culture and Marketing department. In this hourly role, you will provide exceptional service to visitors and residents at the Frisco/Copper Information Center while also executing key marketing and communications projects.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, assisting, and providing accurate information to visitors with a professional demeanor.
- Respond to guest, resident, and business inquiries and feedback in person, over the phone, and via email or social messaging.
- Handle repetitive questions and tasks with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized Visitor Information Center environment.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding town departments, events, businesses, and the region through proactive research.
- Maintain, track, restock, and order brochures, visitor packets, maps, and other display materials.
- Track referrals, visitor numbers, and inquiries to prepare monthly reports.
- Facilitate a survey program, including setting goals, analyzing data, and creating reports.
- Book Town activities using booking software and complete sales transactions using point-of-sale systems and cash handling, including daily reconciliations and deposits.
- Open and close the Visitor Information Center as a keyholder, identify building issues, and communicate with Public Works or cleaning staff for resolution.
- Manage a purchasing card, make purchases within budget, and reconcile and code credit card statements.
- Act as a liaison between the Town and Copper Mountain Resort, selling and promoting Copper Mountain activities and events.
- Create and post content for Town of Frisco Facebook and Instagram accounts.
- Support the online business directory by updating listings, troubleshooting with businesses, and training businesses.
- Brainstorm and write content for a monthly visitor e-newsletter.
- Adhere to Town policies, safety procedures, and overall professionalism.
- Function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with Town employees, citizens, customers, and vendors.
What We're Looking For
- GED or High School Diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Search Engines, and Social Media

Benefits & Compensation
- Budgeted hiring wage range: $24.744 - $30.929 per hour.
- Full wage range: Min $24.744, Mid $30.929, Max $37.115.
