Cognizant is hiring a GTM Data Analyst to act as a pivotal resource for our sales and marketing teams. In this role, you will triage, prioritize, and answer questions via Slack and Jira, while focusing on building and maintaining critical dashboards, preparing business review data packs, and managing ongoing ticketed requests.
What You'll Do
- Automate reporting and visualization of core business metrics in Hubble Dashboards.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis in Tableau.
- Provide operational support for Analytics & Insights initiatives.
- Ensure quality of data and accuracy of downstream reporting through precise attention to detail.
- Create analyses that tell a story focused on insights.
- Create sales enablement materials.
- Build, maintain, and QA dashboards (xBR dashboard, SA dash, Performance).
- Refresh Hubble dashboards weekly and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Prepare WBR decks and notes: aggregate data, validate, create Google Slides, take screenshots, craft commentary.
- Maintain WBR notes and weekly deal lists.
- Create MBR and QBR data packs and support quarter-end reporting.
- Run headcount checks and backfills and correct sheet formulas for manual QA.
- Triage and handle 3–5 tickets/week via Slack and Asana.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Use SQL daily via Hubble to fetch and validate data.
- Perform manual spreadsheet work, formula updates, chart refreshes, screenshots, and manual QA.
- Train contractors on WBR note processes and business context.
- Coordinate with data engineers and program managers for larger projects and access issues.
What We're Looking For
- 6 years of experience in Data Analytics, with a focus on analyzing large data sets and building user-friendly dashboards.
- Experience wrangling imperfect data and writing efficient SQL.
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge in creative data visualization in Tableau.
- Experience creating dashboard documentation for end users.
- Communicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
- Advanced SQL skills: write, adapt, and troubleshoot queries; understand joins, aggregations, windows.
- Advanced Google Sheets skills: SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting.
- Dashboard experience: building/maintaining commercial dashboards; troubleshoot data-display mismatches.
- Strong written communication: distill data into concise commentary for slides and updates.
- GTM / sales ops knowledge: deal lifecycle, pipeline concepts, forecasting basics.
- Operational discipline: triaging and tracking tickets in Asana; clear handoffs via Slack/email.
- Comfortable working under deadlines and ambiguity; methodical QA mindset.

- Some coding experience with Python, React Javascript, Plotly (charts).
