Moog is looking for a Group Quality Director - SDG to define and execute the quality strategy across our Space, Defense, and Power & Data Divisions within the Space and Defense Group. In this leadership role, you will ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a unified quality strategy across the Space, Defense, and Power & Data Divisions.
- Lead a team of divisional quality leaders to ensure alignment with corporate and customer quality expectations.
- Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, etc.) and customer-specific requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to ensure robust product development and production processes.
- Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators to executive leadership.
- Serve as the primary quality liaison for key customers and regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality management within the aerospace, defense, or space sectors.
- Proven experience managing quality across multiple business units or product lines.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed across Moog sites and customer locations.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

You will report to the GVP, Quality & Operational Excellence and lead a team of divisional quality leaders.
