Tasks: Your Responsibilities: - Image research and image editing - Data management - Media-appropriate processing of analog and digital data into graphics for print and online products - Graphic and design implementation of topics commissioned by editorial staff - Developing design concepts considering modern storytelling approaches in close collaboration with the editorial team - Graphic enhancement and maintenance of web portals and apps - Reviewing and adhering to layout standards - Organizing and executing image searches in the editorial content management system - Creating finalized and print-ready templates Qualifications: Your Profile: - Practical experience in magazine design development and production - Completed degree in graphic and communication design - (Applications from media designers cannot be considered) - Proficient with Photoshop CS5, InDesign CS5, and Illustrator CS5 - Comfortable working with Mac - Strong sense of image selection, layout, and typography - Technical interest - Independent, goal-oriented, meticulous work approach, even under time pressure - Commitment and creativity in conception and design - Sense of responsibility and team skills Benefits: We operate internationally and are currently unique in print and digital media.
