Grafana Labs is hiring a Grafana Loki engineer to join our team building log aggregation and querying systems. You will focus on developing and enhancing Loki, a key component of our observability platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement features for the Grafana Loki log aggregation system
- Build scalable and reliable components for log ingestion, storage, and querying
- Collaborate on improving system performance, efficiency, and operability
- Contribute to the open-source project and engage with the community
What We're Looking For
- Strong software engineering background with Go or a similar systems language
- Experience building and operating distributed, high-scale data systems
- Understanding of storage and query engines, data structures, and algorithms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, remote environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with log aggregation, time-series databases, or observability tools
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Prometheus, and cloud-native infrastructure
- Contributions to open-source software projects
