About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant in Dublin for an immediate start. The role involves supporting environmental site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects across various sectors including technology, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and public sector clients. Graduates will be mentored and integrated into live projects with a focus on safety, sustainability, and technical development within one of the largest environmental site investigation and assessment divisions in Ireland.

What You'll Do

  • Designing and undertaking desk studies
  • Conducting site investigations
  • Performing risk assessments
  • Developing remediation solutions
  • Procuring laboratory services for environmental analysis
  • Analyzing data
  • Writing factual and interpretative reports
  • Coordinating field service and laboratory subcontractors
  • Supervising ground investigation works
  • Collecting soil and groundwater samples and data during assessment and remedial actions at sites in Ireland, the UK, and overseas
  • Compiling and interpreting field and analytical data into conceptual models
  • Informing risk assessments for human health, ground/surface water, and ground gas/vapour
  • Designing mitigation measures and remediation solutions
  • Advocating best health and safety practices
  • Addressing health and safety issues throughout the life of a project
  • Implementing AECOM’s principles of environmental protection and sustainability within the SGR Services business
