Allstate NI is hiring a Good Hands Repair Network - Automotive Virtual Triage Total Loss Adjuster. In this remote role, you will deliver superior customer service by performing virtual inspections of vehicle damage, writing repair estimates, completing total loss valuations, and negotiating settlements. You will work independently, managing your own workload while explaining coverage and processes to agents and customers.
What You'll Do
- Virtually inspect damage to vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and recreational vehicles.
- Write damage repair estimates and complete total loss valuations.
- Negotiate moderately complex and occasionally complex settlements with repair facilities, tow yards, and customers.
- Estimate repair times for rental or loss of use coverage.
- Investigate casualty claims by performing detailed damage reviews and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat to guide them through the claims process.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers, and claimants.
- Utilize estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to solve problems.
- Document claim files with notes, evaluations, and the decision-making process.
- Work the Triage Tool and partner with the Good Hands Repair Network for potential total losses.
- Initiate payments and pay appropriate parties.
- Respond to moderately complex and occasionally complex arbitrations contentions.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 18 months or more experience writing Auto collision estimates.
- Experience using an auto estimating program such as CCC One, Mitchel, or Audatex.
- Ability to obtain an adjuster's license in multiple markets within 60 days of hire.
- Commitment to maintain all required licensing, including continuing education.
- A dedicated, private, distraction-free workspace in your residence.
- Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down / 5 MB up.
- Must reside in the United States. This position is not available for residents of California, Alaska, or Hawaii.
