Wallarm is seeking a Go Developer - Connectors to join our Node team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the critical 'connectors' that serve as bridges, enabling third-party applications to send analysis requests to our core platform.
What You'll Do
- Research and analyze the technical documentation of new third-party services to understand their integration capabilities.
- Evaluate integration options based on performance, security, and ease of setup to recommend the best path forward.
- Write core connector code, demonstrating agility to switch contexts and programming languages as needed.
- Develop comprehensive tests for new connectors and take ownership of debugging and resolving issues.
- Author clear, detailed, and user-friendly setup instructions for customers.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience in a software engineering role.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Golang.
- Experience reading and integrating with third-party APIs and services.
- Demonstrable experience learning and building projects in multiple, varied programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of web fundamentals and API protocols, particularly REST, gRPC, SOAP, and HTTP.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Experience with software testing, including unit and integration testing.
