Ignition is hiring a Global Director, Growth Marketing

About the Role

Ignition seeks a Global Director, Growth Marketing to lead our worldwide growth strategy with a focus on digital channels and funnel optimization. You will partner closely with Sales, PMM, Field Marketing, and other functions to design and execute high-impact programs that drive demand, increase pipeline, and deliver measurable revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Drive our digital-first acquisition strategy, encompassing both inbound and outbound channels.
  • Grow digital contribution across Ignition’s web properties by optimizing the digital experience across the buyer’s lifecycle.
  • Increase self-serve signups and product adoption.
  • Champion a Test & Learn agenda to foster innovation across the Marketing organization.
  • Build sophisticated buyer’s journeys aimed at increasing awareness and conversion across key segments.
  • Collaborate with MOPs and Sales to optimize lead flow, prioritization, and conversion outcomes.
  • Manage, measure, and optimize our paid media program.
  • Be a driving force in evolving our ABM program to grow up-market pipeline contribution.
  • Optimize our website experience to increase user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Leverage intent data, account-based marketing (ABM), and best-in-class demand generation practices to develop scalable, repeatable customer acquisition strategies.
  • Provide clear visibility and analytics on funnel metrics, channel performance, and conversion rates, reporting weekly and quarterly to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing and RevOps to align digital efforts with local field marketing initiatives for a seamless customer journey.
  • Act as a central point of collaboration for growth marketing efforts, aligning closely with Sales, RevOps, and Regional Marketing on campaigns.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to complement field-based campaigns with strategies that maximize growth.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of growth B2B marketing experience with expertise in high-volume global SaaS businesses.
  • Expertise operating in hybrid self-serve (PLG) and sales-led motions.
  • Experience driving international growth across regions and languages.
  • Proven track record driving growth in new and emerging categories with emphasis on demand creation tactics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of digital-first demand generation tactics, including SEO, AEO, SEM, account-based marketing, and CRO, with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Proficiency in interpreting data to assess channel performance, funnel metrics, and conversion rates, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and mentoring digital teams, fostering a growth-focused culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at articulating digital strategies and campaign performance to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and achieving measurable goals within budget and timelines, with a strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Fintech, Payments or Professional Services.
  • Experience marketing to accounting or other professional services.
  • Experience with Amplitude.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with Sales, PMM, Field Marketing, MOPs, RevOps, and Regional Marketing as a central collaborator for growth marketing efforts.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: USD $160,000 - $215,000 (US) or CAD $180,000 - $235,000 (Canada) plus variable bonus and equity.

Work Mode

This is a global role open to candidates in Canada (Ontario or British Columbia) and the US (California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Washington).
