Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead as the Head of Costing, responsible for overseeing and optimizing cost management across Sun Global Pharmaceutical Operations (Formulations + API). You will provide strategic financial insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Manage global costing systems and processes across the supply network to standardize and provide effective business support.
- Partner on cost improvement programs as part of product life cycle management.
- Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to monitor and support cost reduction initiatives.
- Conduct annual and periodic standard cost setting in coordination with procurement, production, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with market and finance teams to support pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and gross margin improvements.
- Support transfer pricing and intercompany profit elimination processes.
- Develop global inventory policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and transparency in inventory valuations.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new product introductions and R&D projects.
- Administer SAP/ERP costing modules (Material Ledger, Costing, Master Data integrity) and leverage systems to automate and enhance processes.
- Interface with auditors, regulatory bodies, and tax authorities on cost-related matters.
