Interstate Brick is looking for a General Labor professional to join our California Production team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will support manufacturing operations through tasks like hand stacking blocks and batching materials, all while actively demonstrating our Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success.
What You'll Do
- Learn and know the names, sizes, and color details of our block products.
- Read and use a measuring tape accurately.
- Learn and understand the controls and proper operation of the cuber, splitter, and depalleter.
- Know all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out for all equipment.
- Inspect block products and recognize good versus bad quality.
- Lift and stack all types of block products and pallets.
- Learn and understand all cubing patterns.
- Learn and complete the proper cleaning process for mixers, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Keep your work area clean and organized throughout your shift.
- Attend safety meetings and follow all company and governmental safety rules; report and help correct hazardous conditions.
- Maintain predictable and regular attendance.
What We're Looking For
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training to perform duties.
- Ability to learn and follow all safety procedures for equipment.
- Ability to shovel and perform general clean-up duties.
- Ability to operate the splitter, cuber, forklift, and any other required equipment.
- Predictable and regular attendance is required.

- Production line experience.
Team & Environment
You'll work under general supervision from the Plant Manager within our production department.
