HERO Software is hiring a Gebietsverkaufsleiter (m/w/d) for the Cologne/Aachen and Mönchengladbach region. You will lead and manage key customers in the food retail sector within your territory, independently identifying growth opportunities and maximizing sales potential. As the primary contact for your customer base, you will contribute significantly to our success in this dynamic, international, and B Corp certified environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage key customers in the food retail sector within your regional sales territory.
- Independently identify growth opportunities for customers and work on maximizing sales potential.
- Continuously control and optimize shelf placements, expand distribution, and enforce agreed-upon promotions and secondary placements.
- Work closely with market managers, department heads, and store owners.
- Be the primary contact person for your customer portfolio.
- Efficiently plan customer visits and maintain documentation in the CRM system.
- Conduct competitive analyses during store visits to contribute to competitiveness.
- Participate in relevant trade fairs and events, representing the company authentically.
What We're Looking For
- Completed commercial training, ideally as a retail salesman, or a completed degree with a focus on sales.
- Several years of professional experience in the food retail sector.
- Confident demeanor with strong communication skills.
- High level of initiative and hands-on mentality.
- High degree of customer and service orientation.
- High willingness to travel and stay in hotels.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
