GovWorx is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our team, supporting public safety agencies through technology. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, planning, and implementing software across our development lifecycle, directly influencing the safety and efficiency of first responders nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Produce clear architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
- Follow company guidelines and industry best practices for SaaS and on-premises software.
- Write code across the entire stack, including front-end, backend, and database layers.
- Write meaningful automated tests such as Unit Tests, integration tests, and functional automation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer success.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in software development, preferably within SaaS or tech-driven organizations.
- Expertise in .NET and/or Java (Spring Boot experience a major plus).
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience writing and documenting public & private APIs.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with alternative datastores such as OpenSearch, Redshift, etc.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and their security considerations.
