The Online Math Teacher will deliver engaging math lessons to students around the world through an innovative online platform. Starting with a 6-month fully paid on-site training in Petaling Jaya, this role offers a clear path to growth within a supportive, global education environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver dynamic and engaging online math lessons for up to 20 students per class using the company's teaching platform
- Master and effectively deliver Think Academy’s proven curriculum
- Foster a positive, interactive, and inclusive virtual classroom environment
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents to support their academic journey
- Evaluate student assignments and provide necessary academic support
- Participate in other teaching-related tasks, such as student diagnostic assessments
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in any field
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) with a clear, neutral accent suitable for teaching international students
- Minimum B or above in SPM Mathematics
- Genuine enthusiasm for education and a strong sense of responsibility
- Able to commit to a full-time, on-site training schedule for the initial 6 months in Petaling Jaya

- Recent graduate (Class of 2018 onwards)
- Background in math competitions or tutoring

- Guaranteed Monthly Salary during training: RM 3,800 (RM 3,500 Base + RM 300 Transport Allowance)

- Rapid Reviews: Up to 2-3 salary and performance reviews annually
- RM 3,800 guaranteed during 6-month training; RM 4,500 – RM 7,000+ after training. Teachers earn RM 700 – RM 1,000 per month for each weekly class taught. Effective hourly rate scales from RM 70 to RM 200 per hour
- Performance commission included in teaching income; additional fixed income of up to RM 3,000/month available via optional secondment track
Work Mode
- 6 months full on-site training, then transition to hybrid work (home-based and office-based)
