Teach advanced courses in the Master of Science in Cyber Engineering program, delivering high-quality instruction in either online or residency formats. Ensure course content meets academic standards, aligns with program outcomes, and supports accreditation requirements. Play an active role in shaping curriculum, evaluating learning methods, and advancing program quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide academic advising and personalized mentorship to graduate students, helping them achieve educational and professional goals. Collaborate with program leadership to enhance student retention and readiness for careers in cyber engineering. Participate in faculty meetings, academic service activities, and initiatives that support institutional mission and academic excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Degree from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- At least two years of university-level teaching experience at the graduate level
- Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Cyber Engineering
- Professional experience in cyber engineering or related technical fields is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications and platforms including Microsoft, Google, or IBM technologies is advantageous
Technical Environment
Instructional delivery supported by Blackboard and standard office applications. Experience with cybersecurity tools, cloud platforms, Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting is expected. Faculty are expected to follow university policies and procedures as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.

This is a hybrid position based in Kentucky, with teaching responsibilities that may be conducted online or in person.
