As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Clever Real Estate, you'll develop and maintain efficient, scalable backend systems that are central to our platform. You will play an essential role in ensuring the robustness and performance of our technology, delivering a seamless experience for our customers as we work to revolutionize the real estate industry.

What You'll Do

Plan, develop, maintain, and refactor front and backend systems using Ruby on Rails with Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and fellow engineers throughout the product life cycle.
Ensure the platform's infrastructure is robust, scalable, and efficient.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and innovation through participation in forums like architecture reviews and guilds.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus.
Strong understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), REST, and CSS.
Proficient with database modeling, querying, and design patterns.
Ability to break down complex problems and collaborate on tradeoffs and alternatives.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with other MVC frameworks like Django.
Experience with NextJS, Gatsby, iOS, and/or Android.
Experience with TailwindCSS or similar CSS frameworks.
Experience with automated visual testing tools like Selenium or AI-driven testing services.
Experience with AWS, Heroku, or Vercel.
Experience with Microservices or “Miniliths.”
