What You'll Do
- Lead features from concept to completion, using user feedback and data to guide decisions and prioritize refinements
- Collaborate with design to shape user experiences, while independently making thoughtful UX calls
- Rotate through monthly customer support roles, engaging directly with users to troubleshoot and gather insights
- Document progress, pitch new ideas, and maintain clear records of decisions and iterations
- Build and refine core financial projection models, improving accuracy and performance using Python
- Ensure seamless integration between advisor-facing and consumer-facing applications through robust API design
- Write clean, testable, and scalable code that supports long-term growth and stability
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications
- Strong skills in Ruby on Rails and React, with hands-on experience delivering complex systems
- Familiarity with Python, or a willingness to deepen your work in data-driven modeling
- Ability to write robust, maintainable code that balances immediate needs with future scalability
- Commitment to creating intuitive experiences from complex financial workflows
- Clear communicator, especially in writing, able to explain technical concepts across disciplines
- Comfort engaging directly with users to diagnose issues and improve solutions
- Self-driven mindset—able to set goals, manage time, and initiate improvements independently
