Kohl's is looking for a Full-stack Engineer - Customer Experience to own how customers interact with Rerun Cloud. You will lead the UI/UX and front-end architecture, shipping complete and reliable flows within a talented, remote tech team.
What You'll Do
- Own the frontend for Rerun Cloud: design and build thoughtful, fast, and accessible interfaces.
- Ship end-to-end features by stitching UI to APIs, data, and third-party integrations.
- Raise the bar on developer experience and quality through component design, testing, performance, and observability.
- Collaborate tightly with design, product, and platform teams to create a cohesive user journey.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with a modern frontend stack, including Svelte (SvelteKit), TypeScript, and component-driven development.
- Confident wiring UI to API-driven backends and comfortable proposing or negotiating API shapes.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, such as for authorization, usage metering, or payment providers.
- Backend fluency to build thin services, understand code, or contribute to APIs (we use Rust and Go).
- A practical grasp of performance, accessibility, testing (unit/e2e), and observability (metrics/logging/tracing).
Nice to Have
- Comfort working with infra-adjacent concerns like Kubernetes, declarative APIs, or operator patterns.
