iwoca is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Credit Cards Product Team. You will be instrumental in designing the front-end architecture and its integration with the back end for our new credit card product, working across the stack to deliver intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of our front-end architecture and its integration with the back end.
- Shape how customers apply for, use, and manage their cards.
- Work on engineering projects to design new systems and deliver customer-facing features.
- Create a fast, frictionless signup experience (onboarding flow).
- Build clear, engaging views for the rewards experience (cashback and partner perks).
- Build user interfaces for card management, giving customers complete control over their cards.
- Architect and build internal operational tooling in collaboration with the Ops Strategy team.
What We're Looking For
- Front-end engineering experience, ideally using React and TypeScript, including testing, consuming APIs, and accessibility.
- Confidence working across the stack, including back-end development, ideally in Python.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining API endpoints.
- Experience delivering high-quality, accessible UI from design tools (e.g., Figma) through to production.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on outcomes and impact.
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial products, especially payment products.
- Experience with Django and PostgreSQL.
- A strong numerical or technical background, with a degree in maths, physics, computer science, engineering, or relevant industry experience.
