iwoca is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Credit Cards Product Team. You will be instrumental in designing the front-end architecture and its integration with the back end for our new credit card product, working across the stack to deliver intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.

What You'll Do

Lead the design of our front-end architecture and its integration with the back end.
Shape how customers apply for, use, and manage their cards.
Work on engineering projects to design new systems and deliver customer-facing features.
Create a fast, frictionless signup experience (onboarding flow).
Build clear, engaging views for the rewards experience (cashback and partner perks).
Build user interfaces for card management, giving customers complete control over their cards.
Architect and build internal operational tooling in collaboration with the Ops Strategy team.

What We're Looking For

Front-end engineering experience, ideally using React and TypeScript, including testing, consuming APIs, and accessibility.
Confidence working across the stack, including back-end development, ideally in Python.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining API endpoints.
Experience delivering high-quality, accessible UI from design tools (e.g., Figma) through to production.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on outcomes and impact.

Nice to Have

Experience with financial products, especially payment products.
Experience with Django and PostgreSQL.
A strong numerical or technical background, with a degree in maths, physics, computer science, engineering, or relevant industry experience.
