Arbonics is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our technology team and drive our products into their next phase. You'll work fast and independently, have a real impact on an early-stage product, and collaborate closely with design and product.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain both the front and back end of our applications as a key member of our technology team.
- Play a key role in the system design and development of our platform.
- Collaborate closely with our design lead as we expand and improve our design system and component library.
- Work closely with our data/GIS lead to structure and expose deep GIS data to users in engaging and intuitive ways.
- Play a fundamental role in the evolution of our team's culture of creation, collaboration, and delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
- Solid background in Java or Python.
- Proficient in React.
- Demonstrated experience in front-end server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js or similar.
- Solid experience working with relational databases, from schema design to writing efficient and scalable queries.
- A strong commitment to writing clean, secure, maintainable and testable code.
- A 'design and create' mentality – proactive, business-aware, and invested in product direction.
- Willingness to dive deep into the details and contribute across the full product lifecycle.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience building platforms from scratch or contributing during early-stage development.
- Experience working with complex data (e.g., GIS, scientific, financial, or high-volume structured data).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
