Citco is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a cross-functional team building on-prem and cloud native applications for the financial services industry. You will leverage your experience to help drive delivery, introduce new technologies, and guide the evolution of our applications using agile methodologies.
What You'll Do
- Participate in all agile team activities including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Develop front and back end code using React, Node, and Typescript
- Work with relational databases and utilize PL/SQL basics
- Perform code reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work
- Design and implement unit, integration, systems, performance, and load testing
- Manage AWS resources in a safe and cost-effective manner
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience working on Agile teams
- 3+ years of software engineering experience building and architecting web applications and backend services
- 2+ years of experience with React / Node
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of core software development processes including debugging, code tuning, code management, and refactoring
- Self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, CFN, DynamoDB
- Experience with NoSql databases, ideally Elastic Search

- Compensation: CAD $105,000 - CAD $135,000
