Percona is hiring a Frontend Web Developer (Observability) (Remote)

Percona is looking for a Frontend Web Developer (Observability) to build and enhance user interfaces for our core product, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM). You will design intuitive experiences that make complex infrastructure management accessible, scaling from single nodes to thousands of systems.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to enhancing and extending the Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) product.
• Build user interfaces to present complex infrastructure management capabilities in an easy-to-understand, feature-rich manner.
• Work across team boundaries to ensure monitoring and management components work together seamlessly.

What We're Looking For

• Good command of TypeScript and React
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with build tools like vite or webpack
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks
• Experience with various charting libraries such as d3 or Highcharts
• Good with Math and Statistics
• Experience with Agile practices and delivering working code regularly
• UI/UX theory and practice
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Docker or Podman experience
• Excellent written and verbal English

Nice to Have

• Grafana or Prometheus experience
• Experience building web applications
• Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Database experience in any of MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Valkey/Redis
