smartmicro is looking for a Frontend Entwickler für Smart City Sensorik (m/w/d) to develop the web interfaces that power our radar sensors and central control units. You will contribute directly to our mission of making roads safer, enabling autonomous driving, and optimizing traffic flow for smarter cities.
What You'll Do
- Develop web interfaces for radar sensors and central control units.
- Focus on radar configuration and visualization of radar data and the environment, including map data, lanes, and intersections.
- Ensure the display of diagnostic data from radar sensors, synchronization information, and sensor fusion results in the central control unit.
- Take responsibility for quality assurance, documentation, and architecture of the frontends.
- Implement and integrate APIs from our own backend and third-party providers.
- Work in a team with other developers and UX experts to integrate customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the backend team and specialist departments.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in computer science or a similar qualification.
- At least two years of practical experience in software development and modern frontend techniques like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Knowledge in designing user interfaces.
- Good knowledge of quality assurance, including developer testing and UI/UX design.
- A clean code mentality and appreciation for practices that support good code, such as continuous integration and test automation.
- Experience with independent work using Scrum and similar agile methods.
Nice to Have
- Advanced knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with version control systems (Git), ticket systems (Jira), and using REST interfaces.
