An intern will join the IT Engineering community in Madrid to work on actual projects, develop skills in modern frontend development, and engage with agile squads using Scrum within a fully digital banking setting.
Responsibilities
- Help build new features and components while following coding standards and best practices.
- Take part in clarifying and refining user stories to support their implementation.
- Support team efforts in navigating and understanding various environments including development, integration, and production.
- Gain familiarity with the release cycle and assist in deploying new functionalities.
- Contribute to application monitoring by identifying possible issues and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript with an interest in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Understanding of responsive design, web standards, and fundamental UI/UX concepts.
- Interest in writing clean, sustainable code and learning about unit and component testing.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
- Willingness to collaborate in a Scrum team and learn actively from peers.
- Curiosity about frontend topics including components, state management, accessibility, and performance optimization.
