What You'll Do
Design and build intuitive user interfaces for tools that assess, track, and manage AI systems. You'll play a central role in developing features across core product areas: evaluating model performance through quantitative testing, monitoring real-time AI interactions to ensure safety and compliance, and enabling governance workflows for enterprise AI adoption. As the company expands from early to scaled operations, you’ll help refine engineering practices and modernize the frontend codebase to support long-term growth.
Requirements
You have at least three years of experience building frontend applications and a proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-moving environments. You’re comfortable working independently and iterating rapidly based on feedback and changing requirements. Fluency in English is required, and being based in Tokyo is strongly preferred. Remote consideration is available for exceptional candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with reactive JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
- Familiarity with full-stack development
- Prior work in startups or early-stage companies
- Background in AI, machine learning, or large language models
- Japanese language skills are a plus
Technical Stack
You’ll work with Svelte, SvelteKit, TypeScript, Vite, and TanStack, along with testing tools like Vitest and Playwright. The stack includes Chart.js for data visualization, shadcn/ui for component design, and Jinja for templating, with a focus on maintainable, well-documented code using JSDoc.
