You will work on a specific project critical to SAP Commerce and Consumer Industries, with opportunities to switch teams as you grow. We need versatile engineers who display leadership qualities and are enthusiastic to tackle new problems across the technology stack.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software with a focus on front-end engineering.
- Work on proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts.
- Propose and compare design and technology options with technical leads.
- Constantly test, monitor, analyze, and improve performance.
- Look to leverage our SAP internal platform and tools.
What We're Looking For
- A BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (ongoing).
- Knowledge of modern front-end technology stacks, including HTML, CSS, REST/JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, and client-side, component-oriented frameworks and libraries.
- Knowledge of modern web development architecture based on client-side JavaScript (React.js / Vue.js) and prebuilt Markup (e.g., Gatsby.js, Webpack).
- Knowledge of web APIs and API-first design principles.
- Strong sense of design and commitment to the fundamentals of UX-Design.
- Strong sense for quality assurance and experience designing and implementing functional tests as part of the development process.
- Ability to work flexibly and agilely.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate smoothly.
- Ability to commit a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 6 months.
Nice to Have
- Proficient in React.js.
- Knowledge in micro-frontend frameworks and concepts.
