Xapo Bank is looking for a Front-End Web Developer to blend design artistry with programming craftsmanship. You'll translate design wireframes into code for visual elements, collaborating with product and marketing teams to bring graphical concepts to life. Your primary focus will be on public-facing websites, with contributions to internal back office user interfaces, all within our fully distributed global team.

What You'll Do

Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code.
Ensure the technical feasibility of designs from visual and experience perspectives.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure consistency of data gathered from users.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Develop internal tooling UI and platforms for non-web-native team members.
Optimize the website, SEO, and contribute to CMS integration.

What We're Looking For

Strong understanding of the newest trends, best practices, and standards in web development.
Experience in leading medium to large-scale projects with a focus on UX and Security.
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
Proficiency in client-side scripting, security best practices, and browser performance optimizations.
Strong knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Next.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, SPA, and SSG.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GitHub.
Good knowledge of SEO principles.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of ownership to deliver results independently.
