Jobgether is hiring a Front End Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our cloud-based web applications. In this remote role, you will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create responsive, high-quality user interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain new cloud application features primarily using React and related front-end technologies.
- Optimize and enhance existing UI components to improve user experience and performance.
- Collaborate with backend teams on API integration and front-end architecture.
- Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and resolving front-end issues.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
- Contribute to evolving front-end development practices, tools, and processes.
- Work closely with design and product teams to deliver cohesive solutions that meet user needs.
- Continuously improve coding standards, accessibility, and overall front-end performance.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience building responsive, production-grade React web applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and tooling.
- Experience implementing designs that meet cross-browser compatibility and mobile standards.
- Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of API integration and data handling in front-end applications.
- Experience collaborating in agile environments using tools like Jira and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and professional conduct.
Nice to Have
- Experience with backend or serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with UX design principles.
