Harlow's Casino Resort and Spa is hiring a Front Desk Clerk to be a welcoming point of contact for our guests, ensuring an accommodating experience from check-in through their stay. You will coordinate amenities, respond to customer needs, and manage front office operations.
What You'll Do
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Greet and register guests via a centralized registration system.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department as needed.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.
- Resolve small issues as they arrive for guests.
- Check and balance daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts.
- Deliver items to guests as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Good interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone.
- Must be able to multitask, function professionally under pressure from guests and supervisors.
- The ability to lift, push and pull up to 25-50 pounds.
- Virginia Racing Commission License.
- Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to your department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which you may have knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous front desk experience.

This is an onsite position.
