Remington Hotels is looking for a Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. In this role, you will ensure a smooth and professional guest experience from arrival to departure, handling a variety of front office tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out.
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
- Promptly, accurately, and efficiently post all charges to guest accounts.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of the Front Office computer or manual system for all daily and infrequent transactions.
- Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks, and credit card information and making correct change.
- Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
- Know hotel rates, discounts, and how to apply each.
- Have a working knowledge of reservation procedures, including taking same-day reservations in approximately 2 minutes.
- Follow cancellation and relocation procedures when necessary.
