About the Role
We are seeking skilled linguists to provide subtitling services in Kazakh, ensuring high-quality, contextually accurate translations that maintain timing and readability for video content.
Responsibilities
- Translate audio or video content into Kazakh with linguistic precision
- Adapt dialogue to reflect cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions
- Ensure subtitles align with on-screen timing and reading speed standards
- Review source audio to confirm accurate transcription and translation
- Maintain consistency in terminology and tone across projects
- Follow client-specific subtitling guidelines and formatting rules
- Deliver completed subtitle files within agreed deadlines
- Proofread and edit existing subtitles for clarity and correctness
- Collaborate with project managers for task coordination
- Report any issues with source material promptly
- Handle multiple projects while maintaining high accuracy
- Preserve speaker intent and emotional tone in translated text
- Comply with quality assurance protocols for subtitle delivery
- Use supported subtitling software or file formats as required
- Respond to feedback and implement revisions when necessary

- Formal training in translation or linguistics
