Mindrift is looking for a Freelance Software Developer (Kotlin) to work as an AI Tutor in Coding. In this role, you will collaborate on projects to improve Generative AI models for specialized questions and complex reasoning. You'll use your domain expertise to directly shape how AI understands and communicates in software development.
What You'll Do
- Generate challenging prompts to test AI capabilities.
- Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of AI responses.
- Correct the model's outputs based on your domain-specific knowledge.
- Help ensure technology benefits everyone by influencing the future of AI.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional Kotlin development experience, in Android or server-side contexts.
- Advanced (C1 or above) English proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of the JVM ecosystem and Java interoperability.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Proficiency with coroutines, flows, and async programming.
- Familiarity with DI frameworks such as Dagger, Hilt, or Koin.
- Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP).
- Strong debugging and optimization skills.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools.
- Readiness to learn new methods, switch between tasks quickly, and work with complex guidelines.
