We’re seeking a freelance Senior 3D Designer to play a key role in crafting story-driven environments that connect brands with audiences. You’ll work across physical and digital touchpoints—designing retail spaces, pop-ups, and interactive experiences that reflect strong brand identities and strategic messaging.
What You’ll Do
- Lead concept development from initial brief to final handover, using mood boards, sketches, and narratives to communicate vision
- Conduct research into cultural, design, and industry trends to inform original and impactful creative directions
- Present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal teams and clients, using visual storytelling to convey design intent
- Collaborate with creative, production, and technical teams to ensure designs are both innovative and feasible
- Prepare detailed specification packs with accurate dimensions and design notes for technical execution
- Review and approve technical drawings to ensure alignment with creative goals
- Manage workflow across multiple projects, prioritizing critical tasks and maintaining momentum
- Help shape 360° brand experiences that integrate seamlessly across physical and digital platforms
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of five years in 3D design within an agency or luxury/fashion brand environment
- Proven experience in retail design—including permanent stores, window displays, pop-ups, and live activations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and pitch work, not just final execution
- Expertise in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and rendering tools such as V-Ray
- Familiarity with 3D modeling platforms like C4D or Rhino, and emerging tools such as Spark AR or Unreal Engine is a plus
- Solid understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and spatial construction
- Ability to lead projects independently while contributing to a collaborative creative culture
- Sensitivity to luxury brand language, tone, and positioning
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in East London (E10 7QX), with flexibility for remote collaboration. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team of thinkers, makers, and innovators who value creativity, curiosity, and meaningful design. The day rate will be confirmed upon application.
