We are currently seeking a meticulous and data-driven Fraud Operations Analyst - Contract to Hire, to integrate into our innovative Fraud Ops team. This represents a 12-week contractual opportunity with potential full-time conversion contingent upon performance and organizational requirements. Conversion is not assured. What you will accomplish: - Safeguard platform integrity and user ecosystem by monitoring and evaluating suspicious participant activities for potential fraudulent behavior, implementing immediate mitigation strategies. - Examine user financial transactions and corresponding gameplay patterns to identify potential irregularities, ensuring account maintenance and balance accuracy. - Leverage diverse technological resources and analytical reports to uncover fraud patterns, quantify risks, and communicate findings to leadership. - Maintain contemporary understanding of fraud and user interaction trends, identifying emerging detection methodologies to share interdepartmental insights. - Provide supportive assistance to management and internal teams through specialized fraud investigations and supplementary requests. - Collaborate across departments to develop and refine fraud-related protocols, policies, and best practices. - Ensure regulatory compliance with anti-money laundering standards, customer verification processes, and gaming regulations by monitoring potential service agreement violations. - Coordinate with Customer Support to establish investigation protocols, training modules, and resolution strategies for identity verification, transaction authentication, and suspicious behavior analysis. - Participate in cross-functional teams to design scalable fraud prevention systems and operational infrastructure. What you will possess: - 1-3 years experience in Fraud, Risk Operations, or related domains. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background. - Comprehensive understanding of Daily Fantasy Sports, Gaming, and payment ecosystem. - Self-motivated analytical profile with exceptional organizational capabilities. - Capability to navigate dynamic startup environments. - Investigative mindset with strong organizational competencies. - Flexibility for hybrid remote/in-office scheduling. - Advanced data interpretation skills. - Comprehensive alignment with organizational mission and values.
