GQS GmbH is hiring a Fraud and Payments Analyst to join our Malta-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring account activity, detecting and investigating fraud, processing payments, and liaising with internal teams and external providers to mitigate risk and ensure compliance within the iGaming industry.
What You'll Do
- Monitor account registrations, deposits, and withdrawals, reviewing and verifying customer documents for authenticity.
- Detect unusual or fraudulent activity, investigate, and close suspicious accounts to mitigate business risk.
- Verify and process withdrawals accurately and in a timely manner, considering incoming deposits and fraud alerts.
- Liaise with various payment providers and internal teams to resolve issues like missing deposits or uncredited withdrawals.
- Strictly follow procedures, contribute to process improvements, and work with third parties to ensure standards are met and risks are eliminated.
- Proactively analyze transactional and customer records to link unidentified activity to known fraud.
- Investigate transactions while liaising with customer support, compliance, and third parties.
- Analyze internal reports for user activity, Responsible Gaming patterns, and potential fraud abuse.
- Investigate and detect potential Responsible Gaming concerns, escalating to responsible departments when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in an iGaming online payment role.
- Good knowledge of regulated markets.
- Anti-money laundering and GDPR knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and be a hands-on team player.
- Must be based in Malta.
