Human Intelligence is building an AI-first technology and services group. We are hiring a Fractional CTO / AI Strategy Council member to provide high-leverage advisory and technical guidance on AI product decisions, accelerating our roadmap and de-risking our path forward.
What You'll Do
- Provide clear advice-to-decision paths for new and extending AI projects.
- Propose or review AI strategy and implementation pathways.
- Create reference architectures, playbooks, guardrail policies, risk registers, buy/build/partner matrices, and vendor RFPs.
- Conduct quality checks on technical and strategic outputs.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience, with a prior role as CTO, Head of AI, or Distinguished AI Engineer.
- A track record of shipping AI at scale, complemented by strong communication skills.
- Extensive proof of Python & FastAPI projects utilizing extensive LLM APIs in production systems.
- Experience scaling AI/ML systems above 1M users.
- Handled the management and building of complex data pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated healthcare or clinical AI, including privacy frameworks, DPIA, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Prior advisory, fractional, consulting, or board-level support experience for engineering or AI teams.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote, contractor role open globally. We are offshore-friendly to candidates in Western Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia, Latin America, Israel, Singapore, Malaysia, and South East Asia.
