This FP&A Analyst role is central to driving financial clarity and strategic direction within a high-growth healthcare organization backed by private equity. Working remotely, you'll actively contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles while ensuring financial discipline across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and historical performance
- Develop and maintain integrated three-statement financial models to support planning and strategic initiatives
- Design scenario and sensitivity analyses for growth projects, cost optimization, and capital investments
- Collaborate with clinical, operations, and revenue cycle leaders to understand business drivers and translate them into financial forecasts
- Support reporting requirements for lenders and private equity stakeholders
- Enhance Excel-based dashboards, models, and reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, KPI tracking, and data consistency
- Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to guide operational and strategic decisions
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, along with 2–4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, or private equity. Proficiency in three-statement modeling, advanced Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and scenario analysis), and financial reporting is essential. Familiarity with debt covenant reporting and compliance is required. Strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments are critical. Experience in healthcare finance or within a PE-backed company is highly valued. NetSuite experience is a plus. CFA progress or relevant certifications are considered advantageous.
