We are looking for a Foundry Operator Expert to perform on-site operation and coordination, evaluating and reporting on the general operating conditions of gas cleaning, gas handling, and effluent treatment plants. You will ensure strict adherence to current safety, occupational health, environmental, quality, and gender diversity standards, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Operate from control rooms, monitor process parameters, and make adjustments or modifications to control systems to maintain equipment stability.
- Conduct on-site control and inspection of operating conditions.
- Hand over and receive equipment for maintenance according to schedule.
- Control supplies and materials used in your process.
- Develop and control work procedures and instructions.
- Manage shift information.
- Comply with corporate and divisional regulations for quality, safety, occupational health, environment, and innovation.
- Report any incidents or operational deviations to your direct supervisor promptly.
- Perform basic checks on equipment and tools under your responsibility, completing checklists and interpreting alarms.
- Execute tasks as indicated in the operations program, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Manage the execution of operational control tasks in the field.
- Update equipment and facility operation records.
- Ensure order and cleanliness of the work area, maintaining hygienic conditions per division standards.
- Maintain information by recording events during the shift in a consolidated information system and reporting to your direct supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Complete high school education.
- At least 5 years of experience in a control room managing functions related to Gas Handling and/or Gas Cleaning Plant and/or Effluent Treatment Plant operation.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
- Health condition compatible with the role.
Nice to Have
- Higher Technical and/or Engineering education.
- Sernageomin B Certification or Sernageomin Monitor Certification.
- End-user level experience with SAP.
